With Nuge running through my blood one can rarely play any iconic Rock n Roll without some interference. A few riffs of what Carry On Wayward Son might sound like if Ted Nugent had written it.
In 2007 I had the chance to spend some time with Ted in Waco Tx. I was floating on a cloud in this video with Ted’s famous Byrdland Blackie as we did some strumming in the backyard. Ted was showing me the song Do-Rags and A .45, a never released song of Ted’s at the time. And just think how many more there must be.
Ted later released this song in 2014 on the Shutup & Jam album. I never would have imagined getting a behind the scenes peak like this years ago! I had been keeping this video private all the years but suspect Ted wouldn’t mind my telling the story now.
